In this painting called Hull Roses I have tried to capture the happiness and spontaneous joy I feel when receiving flowers. These flowers are in a Hull Vase which belonged to my grandmother. This oil painting was worked on in Memphis, initially, and also in McLean. It has beeswax as the medium.
I paint primarily in oil, frequently exploring digital art through video, film creation, artificial intelligence, and new mobile apps. An American artist, born in Memphis, TN, I've exhibited my paintings in brick & mortar galleries in five states, Washington DC, as well as China and India, plus numerous other venues and benefits.
