Karen Francis continues her exploration into digital art and collage with the resulting new work, "Planting a Dream". Dream starts with a digital photograph of flowers, sampled into circles, and crafted together into a flower form, along the lines of fashioning a piecework quilt. Cheerful, colorful shapes complete the friendly, optimistic, minimalist yet boldly expressive landscape, perhaps suggestive of the hopefulness of women in America when the first female of a major political party was nominated for President of the U.S. "Planting A Dream" is included in the Featured Images of the Corporate Collectors Gallery for October, 2016.
