Churches Art Contest Announces Winners

Voting finished last night for the Churches Art Contest on the Fine Art America website. First Place went to Carol F Austin, a NY freelance photographer, for Spiritual Awakening. fineartamerica.com/featured/spiritual-awakening-carol-f-austin.html Second Place went to Phoenix Design for Notre Dame de Paris The Holy Spirit. Third Place was a tie between Faruk Onur for The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow and Phoenix Design for Notre Dame. Several other works received numerous votes including entries by Faruk Onur, Blair Wainman, and Mal Smith.

Photographers took top honors over painters in this contest where 275 members of fineartamerica entered 460 works in this contest and 443 votes were cast. Submissions started Monday, October 24th, 2011 - 12:26 AM. Submissions ended and voting began Monday, October 31st, 2011 - 12:26 AM.
