Iron and Steel,is a photograph by Karen Francis taken along the one mile Pedestrian Bridge crossing the Mississippi River. This construction is part of the railroad Bridge which runs along next to the Big River Crossing. The entrance to the pedestrian bridge is from Channel 3 Drive in Memphis, TN. I think this construction gives new meaning to the phrase "It's Complicated".
In addition to painting, Karen Francis, has written and produced the Academy Award Qualified feature film, CHRISTMAS RIDE (PG) "A Road Trip to Remember" which was filmed in the greater Memphis area. She regularly creates short videos on art, film, travel, music and inspirational topics and publishes them to her Art Promotions YouTube channel called blessings427. She is hoping more people will watch and subscribe to the channel which is free. Karen Francis has exhibited in many venues and has numerous collectors around the country.
I paint primarily in oil, frequently exploring digital art through video, film creation, artificial intelligence, and new mobile apps. An American artist, born in Memphis, TN, I've exhibited my paintings in brick & mortar galleries in five states, Washington DC, as well as China and India, plus numerous other venues and benefits.
