I will be exhibiting one of the works published through Fine Art America for the first time. It is a new framed digital pigmented print called Memphis Street Scene. This scene originated near the Peabody Hotel, a famous Memphis landmark. Some of the horse drawn carriages that frequent the downtown area may be seen if you look closely. The public is invited to the reception on Oct 2 from 2 to 4 pm. The exhibit will run until October 28 and may ve viewed between 9-5, Monday through Friday at 7151 Cherry Farms Road Cordova TN 38016.

I have recently added several new galleries to my fineartamerica website pages. My works added so far were previously sorted by content type (figurative, landscapes, abstract). Then I added folders for decade of creation. Now I have a gallery designated Best Sellers for those works which have sold either an original or print previously, and a gallery of Original Paintings still for sale. Last but not least I've named a gallery Made in Memphis to distinguish the works created at my current location. Visit my Gallery tab and see what's new. http://karen-francis.fineartamerica.com

August 8 2011 Today I posted to Fine Art America the third digital comic I created using the capabilities of a Comic App compatible with the Ipad. Each of these deal with the economy and recent political events. These editorial cartoons may be seen in the Fine Art America website and the online shopping cart located in several places including linked from the Art Promotions website at http://karen-francis.artistwebsites.com and in the Facebook Art Promotions Shop page. Visit Art Promotions there, and Like us, please. It's amazing to me how these various embedded shopping carts get updated each time I upload a new work to Fine Art America through the magic of their program.
